The Wangsasre is a cross between the cedar, an alpine tree that grows plentifully in Russia and on Baekdu Mountain in North Korea, and the Geoje tree, a native species of the Korean peninsula. It grows on the ridges of mountains to a height of more than 20 meters, similar to the Geoje tree. The unique silver bark and the shadow of the trees on the snow covered hillsides creates an alluring landscape. Based on a work by photographer Kim Young-il, this design hopes to capture the sublime energy of a tranquil Wangsasre forest.
